soundplotter
is an interactive concept that reactes on sound input.
the object consists of many little cubes that are
arranged in rings and layers. when there is sound input the cubes get longer. the sound is captured, as the layers move down-wards constantly. so this object can contain messages or environmental sounds that like a moment snapshot are saved in 3d shapes.realised with processing.

lettercup
the idea of the lettercup was to submit messages in 3d shapes within a haptic scenario. the sender types the message and via processing a virtual cup object gets rings that are lowest for an `a´ and highest for a `z´ . this object can then be printed 3d and be sent to the receiver who can again with his fingers read the abstract message. realised with processing.

sos-lamp
in the sos-lamp concept we played with light input. via processing light signals from a webcam can be translated into an individu-alised lamp. if there is a light signal a bar of the lamp will be created so that in the end there will be an object consisting of bars that illustrate the morse-message. one or two bars are a short message, three stand for a long signal. the receiver of the message can read the content by the shadows on his/her wall. realised with processing.

cloudspeaker
cloudspeaker is a conceptual work to create pc loudspeakers by use of internet radio userdata via 3d printing. the profile tags and a 10sec frequency
spectrum of the 33 favorite songs are valued and transformed into shapegiving adjectives under
certain criteria. so the data is translated para-metrically into concrete shape. this concept won the second place at the student design award for rapid manufacturing.
